The Kingston market isn't a new one for me. Every week I will pass by and sometimes I will buy some fruits or vegetables there. The food selling there are very fresh. They are sent from the farm every morning. So the vegetables are different from the ones sold in the supermarket with using dates, like due to… The things on the market are more natural. So I think they are unique.

This building is in the heart of the Kingston market, so it can be seen from every angle. This is a building that can represent the Kingston market, so I drew it very carefully when painting, trying to retain all its features.

Here I mainly draw the stalls in the fruit and vegetable area. Because I think this is the most lively part of Kingston and the most distinctive part.

In addition, I also designed icons for them according to the different partitions of each plate in the market. The icon appears in a dialog-like graphic, which makes the market look more vivid. The graphic appearance of the dialog box represents the existence of people, and the community atmosphere of Kingston Market is also a major feature.

The final outcome

The whole market is divided into two parts. One part is selling fresh fruits and vegetables. The other side sells food. So I drew side views on both sides.

What's more, I also designed a handout that can tailor by everyone. After finishing, it can be folded into a simple Kingston market paper model. On the handout, there are some introductions of each stand so that people can know the market and the stores there better.
