One of the many burdens people experiencing homelessness face is the stigma of the general public. 74% of homeless people do not have a severe drug addiction, and many have come from steady jobs but have fallen off due to difficult circumstances. By stigmatising homeless people as "other" or unlike ourselves, we are limiting the support that can be provided.

In this project, we are telling real stories about people who have come from a "normal" background and have experienced homelessness. Our aim is to show that it is something that can happen to anybody, so should not be ignored as someone else's problem. We are hoping that people can see themselves in the stories and re-evaluate their perception of homeless people.
